Simpson, Kevin James – On July 25, 2016 Kevin lost his battle with Lung disease at the age of 61. He leaves his daughters Shasta Pappas and Hailey Simpson, along with son-in-law Andrew Pappas. His grandchildren Danika and Neeva Pappas will miss his playfulness, creativity and young at heart spirit. Predeceased by his son Kris Simpson (2014). Greatly missed by his mother Dorothy Simpson and the late Jack Simpson, brothers and sisters: Judy Stayner (Terry), John Simpson, Valerie Burns (Ken), Larry Simpson (Debbie), Robin Simpson (Ruth), Norma Davis (Carl) and Dorothy Davis, many nieces and nephews, former wives and friends Marsha Simpson and Pam Simpson and many friends from Kingston to Brockville.
Kevin was happy with good conversation, tasty foods and sports to follow. He was not a man of few words, and we will be forever thankful for that. He took every opportunity to share his love, pride and encouragement. He loved his children and grandchildren with his entire heart.
Kevin may have retired his jersey, but we know he will be in good company catching up on some sports with his son and father in the sky.
